The tire increases the all weather traction. The all weather compound and the detailed symmetric block placement work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, greatly improving the summer and winter weather performance. The zigzag siping placement firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, increasing the year round performing capability. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further boosting the wet weather driving safety levels. This model can also be used in severe winter weather conditions.
The ribbed tread design, which is stabilized, manages to maintain the surface contact at all times. This enables the tire to greatly improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance. In this manner, the tire promotes a quicker and more precise response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The strengthened internal structure enables the tire to upgrade the load durability. As the tire does not allow the tire to deform under the load and driving pressure, greatly boosting the overall load capacity.
The Continental Conti Scandinavia HD3 improves the self-cleaning tread design. The chamfered block edges and the zigzag grooves allow the tire to eject rocks from the footprint.
